##容忍与自由。
评分##美国的学生被过度保护是事实，大学风气出现各种问题也是事实，但是问题不仅出在学生和学校，这是美国全社会意识形态的大割裂，涉及话语权的争夺，政治力量博弈，对公众意见的影响，把the great divide归因于overprotection把问题简单化了，我不相信这些行为的背后是对受到伤害的恐惧，更相信这是戾气和大环境激发的人性恶，因此也并非从小培养小孩独立或者让他们放下手机就能够解决的。

It really got me thinkin...to an extend, I was taking some of the criticizes practices described in the book for granted. I’m the i-gen, over-protected young person with liberal ideals... it takes practice and I’ll try to mindful about tolerating different ideas

评分##书里讲了三个被广泛相信的非真理great untruth：”What doesn’t kill you makes you weaker” ,”Always trust your feelings,” and “Life is a battle between good people and evil people”.这本书写得真是太好了，然而听得常常冒冷汗，因为他里面描述的完全就是我们学校这样的地方，我们学生这样的年轻人，太贴切了，但因为太贴切就很容易被认为非友即敌，而他描述的一些可怕的事情也完全有可能在我们身边发生。
