##寫的比較詳細（拖遝）的一本書，在一開始做筆記，後來已經看纍瞭……其實Jeff Welch鼎盛之時就埋下瞭衰敗的種子，其興也勃焉，其亡也忽焉。

評分##its kinda of a collaboration of GE history, primarily focusing on Jeff. We all know Welch and his famous six sigma management philosophy. But I do not have any idea of his successor Jeff. It fair to see people in most aspects, the book is just telling criticisms and let u know the downside without truly knowing it. Let say it a ok book.
評分##正讀到中間有點兒無聊的部分，開頭不錯。看到subprime mortgage的瞬間我就笑瞭……what a lesson；讀完瞭，後麵有點兒草草結尾，Alstom收瞭之後怎麼又write off 20bn loss瞭？也沒解釋清楚，還替GE委屈上瞭，Alstom並不開心好吧。我看GE這條船沒救瞭，不是因為Jeff，而是因為美國經濟無可避免的迴不去瞭

評分##GE的失敗在於激進的會計處理、押注瞭錯誤的行業（油氣、電力、航空）、過於依賴金融、缺乏行業專注、顢頇自大的領導以及追求完成指標的文化。作者似乎把責任都推給瞭伊梅爾特。但我認為韋爾奇埋下瞭失敗的種子，隻是失敗的後果由後人來承擔。比較可惜的是John Flannery，他似乎太過實誠，雖然他的戰略都是對的，但可惜失去瞭董事會的信任，成為瞭前任製造的災難的犧牲品。這本書寫到比較“乾”，雖然有一個很好的話題，但隻能給到四顆星。
評分##乾貨不多 基本上是對Immelt個人的批鬥 幾乎沒有討論Welch的曆史責任 也沒有深究龐大組織係統性失效的根源 另外GE Capital證明來錢最容易的還是無銀行之名行銀行之實（此處應有螞蟻）
