评分##More of a book for news readers and those in Congress than an academic piece. Terrific intro to monetary and fiscal policies, ways & means and appropriation process in Congress, as well as MMT (although the titular umbrella concept does not seem necessary for most of the bookXD).

评分扭转了长期以来的定式思维。MMT呈现了另一个角度去看待我们面临的经济状况，更重要的是决策。相对于纯学术方面的书写，提供了一个全新视角看待接受到的信息以及帮助我们做出对于fiscal and monetary policy方面不一样的判断。最后被作者致力于将经济学对社会做出真正帮助的行动感动，的确需要更多不同的声音。
评分##很有意思，也很好读。前阵子看到网上有人说，中国物价之所以会上涨，是因为美国在疯狂印钞票。虽然不清楚这样的说法准确与否，但却提出了一个这本书没触及的问题：即赤字不断扩大可能对美国本国影响不大，但对于其他国家来说呢？有没有把负担都转移到了别人的头上？

评分##Not fully convinced about the MMT theories after reading the book. The concept is appealing and appears to be making much sense, but in practical terms how to regulate the monetary supply and at what level it averts the inflation is subject to further discussion.
