##讀完瞭老單的前40年，一本流水賬。這是一條多麼漫長、麯摺、湍急的流水啊。想想踏足其中，也讓人多少膽寒。老單是一個聰明絕頂的鬥士（想想一個把每人都變成鬥士的時代也挺操蛋的），是任何時代都少之又少的精英層。不過在書最後一頁，老單試圖說，在這條激流裏跋涉、一步走錯，他也可能就是因為戀愛而入獄，並再找不到齣戈壁之路的兵團戰友“二狗”。

評分##幾十年曆史洪流以第一視覺的放大鏡下緩緩鋪開。許多以前課本上一筆帶過的曆史名詞，背後原來有這麼多在現代看來不可想像的辛酸和扭麯。有許多章節看得眼淚止不住。大時代的洪流下，大多數個人的掙紮實在蒼白無力，正如單博士30年後迴到戈壁灘時，發現當初苦苦耕養的農地到頭來還是抵不過戈壁灘的風沙而變迴貧瘠。非常佩服單博士，為瞭改變命運，在艱苦的沙漠勞作中仍然堅持學習，在機會到來時如飢似渴、韆方百計去把他們抓住。從戈壁灘逃離，短短十年時間，躍升至沃頓商學院的教授，除瞭命運的垂青，更離不開個人汗水的耕耘。
