Tara Westover and her family grew up preparing for the End of Days but, according to the government, she didn’t exist. She hadn’t been registered for a birth certificate. She had no school records because she’d never set foot in a classroom, and no medical records because her father didn’t believe in hospitals.

##很小却很磅礴的是家庭是人心也是这部作品的概括。教育可能改变的是思想是人心但却不能改变灵魂。灵魂才是一个人内心深处最宽阔平坦的基石，是立足于世界的于自我的于家庭的宝石。教育可以是洗涤剂是流动的水，智慧和学识和见识洗干净那基石上的污秽和挫伤。而如果要重生，仅仅靠这些是永远不够的。

评分##文笔算不上多好 但是故事很生动 我们没办法选择自己的出身 自己的家庭和父母 唯一能做的 也就是给自己拼一个未来 想起之前读过的god is not great. 有些宗教信仰真的不算好.

评分##花了近一个月、终于读完了，真好看啊！！ 作者的语言太美了，故事更是惊人。虽然时常听到对真实性的怀疑，但我个人对其没有异见。在我看来，她的叙述太有力量了，这种力量，只能来自于亲身经历后的痛彻心扉。
