France, 1939 - In the quiet village of Carriveau, Vianne Mauriac says goodbye to her husband, Antoine, as he heads for the Front. She doesn't believe that the Nazis will invade France … but invade they do, in droves of marching soldiers, in caravans of trucks and tanks, in planes that fill the skies and drop bombs upon the innocent. When a German captain requisitions Vianne's home, she and her daughter must live with the enemy or lose everything. Vianne's sister, Isabelle, is a rebellious eighteen-year-old girl, searching for purpose with all the reckless passion of youth. While thousands of Parisians march into the unknown terrors of war, she meets Gäetan, a partisan who believes the French can fight the Nazis from within France, and she falls in love as only the young can … completely. But when he betrays her, Isabelle joins the Resistance and never looks back, risking her life time and again to save others.

##我是想打五星的，但为了BE扣一星，我讨厌悲剧！！！！三天假刚好读完这本书，读完半小时了，我还缓不过气来，仿佛身上的力气都被这本书抽空了，眼泪刚擦干又开始掉。故事背景是二战德军占领的法国，主要是两个性格迥异的姐妹在这样的时代背景下的故事。夜莺Nightingale是她们的姓的意义，也是妹妹从事地下工作的代号。前方剧透－－－好喜欢妹妹Isabelle，冲动勇敢大胆，从开始的派发反动传单，到后来的帮助在法国被击落的盟军攀山涉水逃到西班牙。最后还是被捕被折磨，因为爸爸的冒名顶罪免了死刑被送到了集中营。好不容易熬过集中营能和相爱的人重逢和姐姐一家相聚，却因为在集中营中落下的病而死掉了。妹妹的结局太催泪，真想把作者拖出来谈谈人生！ @2015-04-06 22:41:02 @2021-12-22 10:54:20
评分##几度想弃书 因为前半段实在太枯燥 后面稍微精彩了一点 但还是配不上它得到的那些夸奖 最后一章把我看哭了 所以加一颗星 中规中矩吧
评分##我是喜欢战地题材的 但远没有想象的精彩 感情描写有点过于用力 但情感积累其实还没到那个点 所以有种单薄的感觉...行文也不够美 大概是我的bar太高>< 以后还是不要相信机械推荐了...

评分##1.5/5 乏善可陈，剧情、人设太好猜几乎每个情节都被猜到。结局果不其然有转折，问题是这个转折也被我猜到了。另外全书充满中产阶级式的谄媚，恨不得把“我有档次”这句话写脸上。最后尽管作者是女性，主角也是女性，但是对女性心理描写像个直男写的。
