形狀阻力：物體錶麵的壓力在來流方嚮投影的總和，由於粘性引起物體前、後壓力不平衡所緻，是流體粘性的間接作用結果。繞流綫型物體流動，若不齣現邊界層分離，仍然存在形狀阻力，隻是比相同迎風麵積的鈍體繞流阻力小的多而已。

可以流動的氣體或液體統稱為流體.一般情況下,物體在流體中運動時往往會受到流體阻力的作用.例如:人們行走時感覺不到風,但如果騎自行車時,運動的越快.就會感覺到有很大的阻力作用.又如:跳傘運動員在空中下落,打開降落傘之後以及人迎風行走,撐開手中的雨傘後都會感覺到很大的阻力……而減小流體阻力的方法,就是把物體做成流綫型.例如:高速運動的汽豐,火車以及輪船水下邵分的形狀都做成瞭流綫型……
