内容简介

　　High-Frequency Readers 是由Scholastic出版社精心推出的高频词读物套装，包含18本全彩图书、1张音频CD以及高频词闪卡。本套装的学习目标是21个高频词（如I, can, you, do等）以及这些高频词的基本用法，适合学前和小学低年级阶段的小朋友使用。
　　每本读物共8页，每一页都配有生动的图片，可以让孩子们在熟悉的生活场景中学习英语知识。文字内容以高频词和相关主题词汇为主，以简单、重复的句型形式引导孩子学习词汇，培养基本阅读能力。套装中故事类读物里的图画生动、有趣；科学知识类读物包含真实的摄影照片，可以让孩子们认识真实的世界。此外，套装中还有绘画名家的作品插图，对培养孩子们的审美观也很有帮助。
　　家长可以用配套的高频词闪卡和孩子们一起做单词识记类游戏，加深对高频词的记忆。
　　此外，套装还搭配了原版音频CD，是培养孩子们纯正英语语感、良好听力及标准发音的有力助手。每本图书都会有3种不同的朗读：第一遍由儿童朗读，有趣的童声加上生动的场景配音，可以激发孩子们的阅读兴趣，并把学习融入到场景中去；第二遍和第三遍都为成人朗读，可以有效地帮助孩子们巩固学习成果。
