Before you can swallow a chunk of cheese, Stilton's first class ticket has been downsized and he finds himself sharing a flight on "Dirt Cheap Airlines" with his entire family. It turns out Geronimo's cousin Trap has set up a treasure hunting vacation for the whole family in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Geronimo's peaceful vacation turns into a rollicking adventure with lots of laughs. Along the way, he (and his readers) learns all about this area of the country, from Mount Rushmore to Devil's Tower (which is just across the border in Wyoming). Sprinkled among the large typeset are phrases in playful, colorful fonts. The cartoon illustrations add humor and a comic book feel with funny captions and dialogue, making this a terrific early chapter book for new readers. 读书的感觉真好： Each Geronimo Stilton book is fast-paced, with lively full-color art and a unique format kids 7-10 will love. My good friend Hercule Poirat and I were called to investigate mysterious events in the famouse Grand Hotel in New Mouse City. There was a ghost haunting the hotel and scaring guests! It was wearing armor and carrying a ball and chain. I know that ghosts don't exist, but this was pretty spooky. Would Poirat and I be able to solve this spine-tingling mystery?
