James published his first adult book, The Misadventures of Pete the Cat, a history of his artwork, in 2006. He illustrated his first self-published children’s book, Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, in 2008, and the follow-up book, Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes, in 2011. 口袋书，略小，略薄，但是孩子真心喜欢这只猫。

可爱的小本本，孩子可以随身携带

书不错，大小纸张都好，就是送来的时候包装都压扁了不成型了

简化了的版本，故事很短小

远远低于预期，小到小孩子手掌大小，纸质印刷也没有什么好的，难道所有英文版都贵？可我以前也买过很多并非如此……这次如果不是用券（用了也不值），真要退了不可……历史上少有的差评！
