　　《飛行英語聽說（第2版）/民航英語特色課程係列教材》是飛行技術專業學生在完成基礎英語階段和民航專業英語基礎課程之後的高段民航專業英語課程教材。其前期課程包括：大學英語、民航英語閱讀、無綫電陸空通話。
　　該課程的人口要求是學生具有一定的語言閱讀和聽說能力，掌握無綫電通訊的基本程序和術語，能夠進行正常情況下及較為簡單的非常規和非正常情況下的無綫電通訊。該課程的學習通常情況下與學生的飛行訓練同步進行。
　　本課程的目標是要求學生以飛行階段為主要綫索，通過各飛行階段中不同類型的非正常情況、非常規情況和緊急情況下使用英語進行通訊的訓練，掌握各種情況下進行通訊的基本技能，達到國際民航組織所要求的工作級的英語通訊能力。
　　《飛行英語聽說（第2版）/民航英語特色課程係列教材》所采用的體例是根據中國民航飛行人員語言能力等級考試（PEPEC）的題型設計的，力圖通過該課程的訓練，既能使學生具備國際航綫運行所需要的語言能力，同時兼顧通過局方ICAO考試的能力。《飛行英語聽說（第2版）/民航英語特色課程係列教材》的基本結構包括：聽力理解訓練、聽對話簡短迴答問題、故事理解及復述、模擬無綫電通訊。力圖通過大量的操練，盡可能多地覆蓋飛行中可能齣現的各種情景。除正課內容外，在每一課還編有補充練習，供學生課後進行自主學習使用。
