更为特别的是，地图分别绘制了六大洲（南极洲省略），另外将这些大陆上的国家是用透明的醋酸纸印刷，然后分别覆盖在几大洲的版图上，这样做的好处是，你想看几大洲的地形图，只要翻开上面的透明纸就可以了，而当你想看国家的分布情况时，只需将透明纸合上。除了地形图之外，此书还在每一大洲中选择了几个国家进行简单地介绍，内容涉及到人文文化与自然文化。不仅如此，此书还从每一洲中选出一个颇有特色的地区用对开的两页纸画出了更为详细的地图，地图的绘制采用了一种看起来比较立体的画法，虽然地图上并没有标明比例关系，但远近高低一目了然。用此书作为孩子学习世界地理的启蒙书，应该是个不错的选择。我孩子阅读这本书，有点不太合适，年龄大了点，这本书更适合5~8岁月的孩子阅读。
