Mowgli grows up in relative peace, learning the language of the animals and the law of the jungle from Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther. However, in the background, there is always the threat of Shere Khan. Through the tiger's plotting, Mowgli is eventually cast out of the wolf pack. He takes refuge in the nearest man village. While in the village, he confronts and defeats Shere Khan, with the help of the village herds and his wolf brothers. With Shere Khan dead, can Mowgli rejoin the wolf pack? Can he go back to the jungle life that he loves so dearly? Beginning readers would be enthralled by this amazing story, making this a welcome addition to any elementary school library. The chapters are short, and the story is entertaining, lively, and easy to follow. This is a nice retelling of a classic tale that leaves the reader satisfied, but with their curiosity piqued for other tales of Mowgli's adventures."

看過電影版的奇幻森林之後決定買這本書的，內頁都是黑白的，看起來不太吸引小孩子，要是是有電影彩頁的版本就完美瞭，

書勉強對得起這個價格，比iPhone6plus能大點兒有限，黑白印刷（見圖2，3）。重點說說這個漫長的等待過程，我用手機客戶端4月30日下單，結果等瞭1周還沒發貨，問京東客服，說電腦端上說是7-9周發貨，我查看手機端，手機端上這時還說是現貨（見圖4，把我的信息馬賽剋瞭），然後我說我用手機客戶端買的書，當然看手機端上的信息理解瞭，客服簡單粗暴的說說手機端寫錯瞭（你寫錯瞭，該我毛事？！），然後就等唄，等瞭9周還沒發貨，等到7月7日都第十周，我又問客服，客服還是腦殘的說7-9周發貨，我說這都第10周瞭，然後他說那我問問，然後7月8日發貨瞭，7月10日到傢，等待瞭71天（見圖1）。書打4分，服務是0分，可惜不能打0分，我是客戶，按照你發錶的信息買東西，你說你寫錯瞭，這和詐騙有什麼區彆？！不管是疏忽還是故意，都對我們造成瞭損失，一次道歉也沒有瞭，就是翻來覆去說“寫錯瞭”、“可以退貨”，這個犯錯誤的成本太低瞭，也許以後還會“不小心”“寫錯瞭”，希望這個差評能給您以警示，如果我說錯瞭，那麼很抱歉，我“說錯瞭”。
