In one image, the young bunny, clad in blue coveralls, hammers happily on his wooden truck, while Daddy, in matching coveralls, works on his own (real) car just outside the garage. Very young fans of the classic Goodnight Moon will delight in recognizing the characters, illustration style, and gentle rhythmic words in this over-50-year-old picture book. My son loves Goodnight Moon and loves this book too. I like it because it has some pages without words showing a typical scene like a mother cooking breakfast in the kitchen - where we can discuss what is going on. It follows the sequence of a "typical" day and we get to talk about that too. I think it is great!!
