作者簡介

Lee Bennett Hopkins, born in 1938, is famous for his work as an anthologist, author, and avid promoter of bringing poetry to children. Though the subjects he chooses are outwardly ordinary, Hopkins treats them in eccentric ways. For example, Hoofbeats, Claws & Rippled Fins: Creature Poems, is about odd pets like tarantulas and how to love them. His anthologies have won widespread acclaim from book critics and include both well-known and newly published works.

這是一本兒童詩集，包括瞭幾十首小短詩；而且按寵物、昆蟲、交通工具、自然天氣、情緒等分瞭主題，每一首詩都有相應的插圖，很不錯
