评分##故事开头就是高潮很惊人啊，以目睹命案发生作为开端，安排人潜伏到大宅查探，帮助警员梳理案情，到后面接连发生的毒杀事件，真的让人看得很困惑。伏笔也是早就埋下了，最后揭露凶手的时候才恍然大悟记起原来真的有提及伏笔，很厉害！
评分##The set-up is quite novel and interesting, but most of the story still revolved around the will! The ending is so short and anticlimactic!
评分##算是初级版的Girl on the train(或者说, elderly lady on the train...)，尽管乡村老宅的生活情景是个亮点，案件也算新奇，但推理并不严密，而且结论也无法让人满意。一个小彩蛋是对英伦第一女管家的一段描述，比如：病榻上的马普尔小姐，看到女管家用正确的方式打理马普尔小姐花园里的甜豆，立刻放下心来，肺病也好了大半...简直像发生在我自己身上一样真实。
