这本书套用一句广告词就是你值得拥有。书很厚实，一点也没有偷工减料，太喜欢了。孙悟空的故事谁人不知谁人不晓，关键是插画非常棒，完全就是万籁鸣的画风啊！不像现在的电脑动画毫无美感可言。看图之余，底下文字全英文，学到了不少表达方式。以前都不知道涉及中国古代文化怎么用英语说，涨知识了。

法兰兹喜欢世界还没完全醒过来的早晨，因为这时候有一份难得的宁静。没有鸡咯咯的叫声，没有羊咩咩的叫、也没有牛哞哞的叫声。他可以不受干扰、专心致志地清除雪白羽毛上的小虱子或杂草。当他偷偷做二十个仰卧起坐或屈膝运动练身体时，也没谁会去注意。做体操对法兰兹来说，绝对不可少。一只好公鸡，要能随时保持精力充沛，每天要换些新花样，好向他的母鸡们证明，谁才是鸡舍内真正的一家之主。
