內容簡介

　　這本書旨在讓讀者清晰明瞭地接觸廣義相對論，廣義相對論的引入，從大爆炸到黑洞，這樣很容易激起讀者對物理學的濃厚興趣。附錄中提供瞭大量的數學材料來幫助讀者理解正文，而且附錄的很多部分本身也是獨立完整的。
　　本書的結構，一章主要介紹狹義相對論和基本張量代數，包含一個場論的簡要概述。緊接著的兩章引入流形和麯率，包含一些具有激發性的物理知識，但主要目標是建立數學框架。第四章引入廣義相對論，並且給齣一些擇一性定理的討論。緊接著的四章主要討論廣義相對論的三大主要用途：黑洞，擾動理論和引力波，以及宇宙學。這些章節都貫穿有試驗性結論的討論，使得這些理論的實用性馬上顯現齣來。

　　　　書裏的習題我覺得頗為變態. 難度這方麵不評價, 但是習題經常需要後麵章節的知識纔能進行, 真是挨打的逼你預習的方法, 先開始我苦逼的沒摸索齣這點, 質疑瞭很久自己的智力和理解力...我以前同樣很痛苦的做Sakurai的Morden QM時, 雖然也耗時的巨型工程, 但是每做完一道就真的能理解深入很多. 而這本的習題....嗯其實還好
