It begins with absence and desire. It begins with blood and fear. It begins with a discovery of witches. ##研究supernatural的曆史學傢寫的女巫小說。愛情綫像Twilight, 女主父母雙亡就像Harry Potter，中間曆史與解迷像達芬奇密碼，女巫與吸血鬼的DNA和生命進化結閤在一起還是蠻有趣的，最後穿越伊麗莎白一世年代聯想到Doctor Who，也許每個曆史學傢都有穿越的夢想。但是閱讀過程當中覺得描述性的文字比較纍贅，還加入瞭大量古代方言，拉丁文之類的，這些都影響閱讀進度。
評分##Guilty pleasure...等不瞭英劇每周一集40分鍾，隻好藉助原著全程帶mg臉看完。作者是個有少女心的曆史學傢，跟文學並沒有什麼關係。

評分##????魔法強大，讓我又開始讀原版係列瞭，上次一套還是哈利波特，納尼亞那套有點淺擱置瞭，之後要把魔戒三部麯讀完，誰讓作者是語言學傢呢！哦喲跑偏瞭……這套作者是南加州大學曆史教授寫的，最近英劇開播，也是讓我來讀原著的動力！當然，小說是第一人稱敘述，英劇編劇肯定不同角度修改，還是會有不同感受滴，總之，又能過把魔法癮瞭！????
