It begins with absence and desire. It begins with blood and fear. It begins with a discovery of witches. Diana is inexplicably drawn to Matthew and, in a shadowy world of half-truths and old enmities, ties herself to him without fully understanding the ancient line they are crossing. ##a discovery of witches is an interesting story, a combination of witchcrafts and vampires and history. But it’s poorly told in the book, the writing is too plain. However, the TV series is beautifully done.
评分##这本书很容易读懂，不过可以把这本书当成是作者对马修古迪的yy吧。不过作为一名历史学家和作家，这本书作者成功的把自己的yy变成了一本书和三部电视剧。这简直是追星女孩的最高境界。不过作者在堆彻马修吸血鬼的品酒，穿着和建筑风格的高逼格上真的写了不少功夫，以致于我觉得马修带Diana在万灵学院品酒这一段真的有点装逼。按我的习惯这段应该两个人赤裸坦诚相待咯，还一直品酒品到什么时候了
评分##????魔法强大，让我又开始读原版系列了，上次一套还是哈利波特，纳尼亚那套有点浅搁置了，之后要把魔戒三部曲读完，谁让作者是语言学家呢！哦哟跑偏了……这套作者是南加州大学历史教授写的，最近英剧开播，也是让我来读原著的动力！当然，小说是第一人称叙述，英剧编剧肯定不同角度修改，还是会有不同感受滴，总之，又能过把魔法瘾了！????
