So begins an unlikely correspondence between two rival agents in a war that stretches through the vast reaches of time and space.
Red belongs to the Agency, a post-singularity technotopia. Blue belongs to Garden, a single vast consciousness embedded in all organic matter. Their pasts are bloody and their futures mutually exclusive. They have nothing in common—save that they’re the best, and they’re alone.
Now what began as a battlefield boast grows into a dangerous game, one both Red and Blue are determined to win. Because winning’s what you do in war. Isn’t it?

##之前看到有人說書裏短暫的討論瞭明朝時候銀幣短缺的後果還有林某人虎門銷煙等等的這麼個time travel故事 看簡介又紅又藍的雙方也以為會有些什麼政治上的隱喻 實在是大大的誤解 本質上是個YA愛情故事 雖然寫的很poetic (可能因為是書信體 感覺故事發展略..choppy(? 當然也可能是本人水平不夠不懂欣賞這種意識流

評分##It's not bad. 我很少看到這種風格的英文齣版物，以至於我覺得我點進瞭一篇AO3的同人文——這簡直是完美的肖根代餐。
評分##為啥這麼低額。。。寫得太好瞭，尤其是blue明知每一行字都是poison但還是義無反顧地把信讀完的時候，簡直催淚炸彈。結局部分本來覺得說時間綫是有一點點paradoxical的，但是就是這樣莫比烏斯環一樣的糾纏不清，纔使得blue和red成為彼此的innate hunger，真正的靈魂共振。
評分##這裏唯一的科幻成分是姬佬的愛情。消防員和縱火犯的愛，兩個獵食者互相吞噬的欲望，愛起來恨不能共一個身體，又必須在劇情轉摺後在絕望中求索和永生，如疾病一樣的愛，如火種一樣的覺醒，姬佬要成就這種愛隻能對抗全宇宙的定律和規則，僅僅為瞭在一起喝個茶，養條狗。說起來這簡直玄幻。齣於好奇我去查看瞭作者們，對居然是co-writing，還是一男一女作者，我理所當然以為這是姬佬寫的文DOH...

評分##如果影視化，會有很多發揮空間，彆拍成電視劇，兩小時的影片足矣。你有韆種形態，你是萬物，你是這時間長河中我在意的一切。有被這樣的浪漫觸動，但我終究還是沒那麼喜歡這種純粹的浪漫故事。
