##就隻有第一章還有點意思，後麵繞來繞去不知道說的什麼，一點乾貨都沒有
評分##長久以來，齣於對宗教的迷思導緻瞭spirituality（靈性）在大眾文化視野裏常常被賦予某種神秘色彩。這本書裏Sam Harris卻嘗試用理性，科學，以及個人經驗來重新討論靈性與冥想，給到瞭對於有意於探索自我與consciousness （意識）的讀者一個獨立客觀的視角。
評分##Parts of it are not as easy to grasp. I also got the audio-book and I overlapped reading and listening on certain sections in order to better absorb the content. A refreshing and interesting exposition into metaphysical topics of consciousness and self. Sam Harris is always stimulating.
評分##Sam Harris 真的令人崇拜。不僅是他跨學科的視角，還有願意把自己作為靶心的勇氣。如果更多的科學界人士能像他這樣理智看待爭議，積極打開話題就好瞭。（Sam 的語言精準又風趣，組織也特彆好，聽他說話整個人都平靜瞭。自從知道瞭他，傢務乾起來也開心好多。）

評分##Learned a lot. Sam Harris的文字很有靈氣，相比之下他無比monotone的聲音要遜色許多。「We are always and everywhere in the presence of reality. The human mind is the most complex and subtle expression of reality we have thus far encountered.」
評分##英文版雖難讀，但對比中文版，有的地方卻更容易理解…文中有一些非常精彩的類比，將“開悟/無我”描寫得非常可以想象…是的，無論多清楚的描述，目前的我也隻能想象。上海圖書館參考藉閱可直接拿到原版，值得一讀。
