作者简介

Chris Haughton is the creator of Little Owl Lost; Oh No, George!; and Shh! We Have a Plan. He has taught many courses in design and illustration around the world. In 2007, he was named one of Time Magazine’s DESIGN 100 for his work for Fair Trade and People Tree, and in 2011 he was named one of Booktrust’s Best New Illustrators. 说实话，在没读本书之前，我没看过类似的图书，对于绘本也就是买买买、读读读。自家里有了孩子之后，童书绘本没少买，也没少给孩子读。但总是感觉读完之后，少点什么？少点什么呢。为什么绘本这么薄还这么贵，到底应该如何读绘本？买了众人推荐的所谓的好绘本，我又该怎么读？图案漂亮、文字简洁，其内涵意义应该有所指吧？这些疑惑一直持续到我读到这本书。

读书，是人的生活中很有趣味儿的事。如果把工作比喻为攀登一座高山，把写作比喻为“戴着脚镣跳舞”，那么，读书，就好比是顺风行船，嘴里还能品尝着营养丰富的饼干。不管是书籍，还是报刊杂志，绝对不是文字的堆砌，而是一串串鲜活的形象和思想。打开树叶，就会有一股股的香味扑面而来，清新馥郁，淡淡的温馨。所以，古人早就创造了一个词语：书香门第，读者哟本新书，从书里面也会品尝到滋味的。酸甜苦辣咸，无味俱全。所以，古人早就创作了一幅对联：“无情岁月增中减，有味诗书苦后甜。”可见，读书就是一种享受，一种高雅的享受。这是其他任何享受，都不可同日而语。
