作者簡介

“事父母能竭其力；”等。即孔子說；“當他父親在世的時候，要觀察他的誌嚮；在他父親死後，要考察他的行為；若是他對他父親的教誨長期不加改變，這樣的人可以說是盡到孝瞭。”這裏講瞭什麼是孝，同“事父母能竭其力”有些不同。雖然事父母能竭其力，但在社會上做事，或是貪汙或是搶劫，觸犯法律，使父母擔心、憂心，這也不能算是孝。父母都希望子女比自己強，具有良好的品德，這是父母教育子女的齣發點。所以為父母提供豐厚的物質不是孝的根本，如果能夠按照父母的意願、教誨行事做人，對得起父母纔是真正的孝。
