內容簡介

After rain comes down, the sun comes out and dries the puddles. But the water isn't gone. The heat from the sun has turned it into water vapor-it has evaporated. Eventually, this moisture in the air condenses to form new clouds. Soon the rain will fall again. Read on to find out all the ups and downpours of the water cycle!

作者簡介

Franklyn M. Branley was Astronomer Emeritus and former Chairman of the American Museum-Hayden Planetarium. In 1960, he originated the Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science series. Dr. Branley was the author of over 150 science books for children.

　　這群貪婪行竊，膽大妄為，作惡多端的傢夥究竟是怎麼混進我傢的呢？至今，我也不敢妄下斷言。經多處詳加考察，可能是順著燃氣管道攀爬而入。我記得，裝修前，燃氣管道立在一個上下通透的方形區域裏；裝修時，同樓上和樓下的方形區域沒有封堵起來。因此，很有可能，他們就是在這樣一個暗無天日的環境裏神不知鬼不覺地進駐我傢的。另外，還有一種可能，但可能性較小。有時，我們白天都在傢會將大門敞開著，難道它們是如此趁人不備溜進來的？但這似乎跟老鼠的習性不大相符吧，畢竟它們是晝伏夜齣的鼠輩啊！
