具體描述

1943年生於巴塞爾，曾受過傢具木工的訓練，在巴塞爾藝術與工藝學校和紐約普拉特學院分彆接受設計師和建築師訓練。從1979年開始在瑞士哈登斯泰因開辦自己的事務所。瑞士意語大學建築學院教授。

主要建築作品：羅馬考古挖掘防護展示館，庫爾(Chur)，1986年；聖本尼迪剋特教堂，蘇姆威格(Sumvitg)，1988年；老人之傢，庫爾-瑪桑斯(Chur-Masans)，1993年；瓦爾斯(Vals)溫泉浴場，1996年；布雷根茨美術館(Kunsthaus Bregenz)，1997年；瑞士館，2000年漢諾威世博會柏林“恐怖地帶”(Topography of Terror)文檔中心，1997年建成部分於2004年由柏林政府拆除；科倫巴(Kolumba)藝術博物館，科隆，2007年；聖剋勞斯兄弟田野教堂(SaintBruder Klaus Field Chapel)，沙伊特魏勒(Scheidtweiler)農場，德國曼謝裏希(Mechernich)，2007年。
