Jiao Bo， soof a rural family icentral Shandong， had rich career experiences， ranging from carpenter， countryside teacher， schoolmaster and employee oflocal EducatioBureau.I1985， he was recruited as photog-rapher for a city newspaper. Since 1995， he has worked for the oversea editioof People Daity.
I1990， he made a tour of photo-graphic investigatioalong the Long March route by bicycle. The 9-month arduous journey brought a leap fOf his shooting skills as well as his personality. His camera always fo-cuses omopeople， including his owparents. I1998， a series of photos titled My Mom and Dad wothe 'Contributioto HumaBeings' award ithe lst World Folkways Photo Competition.
