##访谈录般的叙述风格还比较新颖，从历史的角度分析了整个系列小说的创作来源和各种梗，好多冷知识，有的真心不太有趣，有几个叙述者声音低的一笔还带口音，听得难受。8.2吧，还可以，不是很有趣。

评分##去年底纽约展览没有赶上，幸好出了画册可以大快朵颐。语言用词优美，各种世界各地的魔法史(伪科学史)看得非常得劲。温习了角色人名相关的词源学，有幸看到好多JK罗琳的手稿和画稿，其实JK罗琳在出第一本书前就已经花了五年草蛇灰线，伏脉千里写好了后面所有情节。两位插画师也功力深厚，视觉呈现想象力的功力了得！

评分##去年元旦假期在都柏林买的，当时激动了好久；后来又在Audible上买了Natalie Dormer朗诵的原声书搭配着一起看。书里把罗琳写作的背景做了一个比较详尽的交待，从药草到巫术，迷信和幻想从来都不只是作者的凭空想象。
评分##1.伪科学史比科学史还有趣，大英图书馆啥都有；2.Jim Kay为哈利波特系列画的插画太了不起了，罗琳自己的绘画水平也很不错；3.“It's really good. It's better than good. It's special." 4.2018年底购于Kelly & Walsh
