作者簡介

Johanna Basford is an illustrator and ink evangelist who creates intricate and hand-drawn illustrations rooted in the flora and fauna that surrounds her home in rural Scotland.

　　喬漢娜·貝斯福（Johanna Basford），英國著名插畫傢，2005年畢業於鄧迪大學藝術與設計學院（Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design）織物圖案設計專業。她擅長以黑白二原色勾勒齣炫酷的作品。她不僅能從大自然中獲得創作靈感，更能以各式各樣飾品、織物為藍圖，創作齣精美絕倫的作品。在創作理念方麵，她堅信電腦製造的圖案是冰冷的、沒有內在靈魂的，因此她在創作的過程中從不使用電腦。她曾與索尼、星巴剋、絕對伏特加和愛丁堡藝術節閤作。目前工作和生活於蘇格蘭阿伯丁郡。
　　本書是她的第一本手繪塗色書，她的第二本塗色書《魔法森林》（Enchanted Forest）也即將由後浪齣版公司齣版。
