作者簡介

Agatha Christie was born in 1890 and created the detective Hercule Poirot in her debut novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles (1920). She achieved wide popularity with The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (1926) and produced a total of eighty novels and short-story collections over six decades.

　　阿加莎·剋裏斯蒂被譽為舉世公認的偵探推理小說女王。她的著作英文版銷售量逾10億冊，而且還被譯成百餘種文字，銷售量亦逾10億冊。她一生創作瞭80部偵探小說和短篇故事集，19部劇本，以及6部以瑪麗·維斯特麥考特的筆名齣版的小說。著作數量之豐僅次於莎士比亞。
