抗生素從化學結構上分為β—內酰胺類（頭孢剋洛，如海南先聲的再剋和希刻勞），氨基糖苷類，大環內酯類（阿奇黴素，如輝瑞製藥的希舒美），阿莫西林（如海南先聲的再林，有種說法說小孩吃瞭牙黃---吃瞭會有抗藥性，所以先聲又開發瞭安奇—阿莫西林剋拉維酸鉀乾混懸劑），四環素類，氯黴素類，利福黴素類以及其它類。
