作者簡介

George Orwell (1903-1950) was born in India and served with the Imperial Police in Burma, fought with the Republicans during the Spanish Civil War, and was a member of the Home Guard and a writer for the BBC during World War II. He is the author of many works of nonfiction and fiction, including Burmese Days, Down and Out in Paris and London, A Clergyman's Daughter, Coming Up for Air, and Keep the Aspidistra Flying.

內容當然是極佳的。但這個版本憑良心說很一般。英文版比中文版要厚，但是看看扉頁的印刷，顯得很粗糙。中文版字距太大，邊距太窄，看的很纍。
