Anne Evelyn Bunting (born December 19, 1928), better known as Eve Bunting, is an Irish author who has written more than 250 books. Her work covers a broad array of subjects and includes fiction and non-fiction books. Her novels are primarily aimed at children and young adults, but her works also include picture books. While many of her books are set in Northern Ireland, where she grew up, her topics and settings range from Thanksgiving to riots in Los Angeles. Bunting's first book, The Two Giants, was published in 1971, and several books are to be published in 2011. Due to the popularity of her books with children, she has been listed as one of the Educational Paperback Association's top 100 authors.

伊芙·邦廷，生长于北爱尔兰。1958年移民美国，作品逾二百本。擅长以简洁的文字、善感的笔触，以及宽阔的写作角度，关注社会问题，从无家可归的游民小孩、孤儿、文盲、自然保育、暴动到战争都有涉及。1995年，以《烟雾迷漫的夜晚》荣获凯迪克金奖，中译作品有《爷爷的墙》、《烟雾迷漫的夜晚》、《记忆的项链》、《小鲁的池塘》、《我们的树》、《开往远方的列车》。

很好，孩子很喜欢，故事比较长，大人读起来累，但是值得了。补充孩子课本以外的知识，激发孩子的学习兴趣。不错的分级读物，提高孩子阅读能力，积累词汇量。讲述异国小学生的学校生活，了解异国的教育和文化。在书店看上了这本书一直想买可惜太贵又不打折，回家决定上京东看看，果然有折扣。毫不犹豫的买下了，京东速度果然非常快的，从配货到送货也很具体，快递非常好，很快收到书了。书的包装非常好，没有拆开过，非常新，可以说无论自己阅读家人阅读，收藏还是送人都特别有面子的说，特别精美；各种十分美好虽然看着书本看着相对简单，但也不遑多让，塑封都很完整封面和封底的设计、绘图都十分好画让我觉得十分细腻具有收藏价值。书的封套非常精致推荐大家购买
