　　繪本和其他圖畫書是不一樣的。繪本，英文稱Picture Book，日文稱“愛好恩”，當用漢字為繁體的“繪本”，顧名思義就是“畫齣來的書”。即指一類以繪畫為主，兼附有少量文字的書籍。現在市麵上的繪本圖書以低幼兒童閱讀為主，內容涉及文學、教育、科普等。而原版英文繪本就是由外國作傢創作在國內販售的繪本，文字是英語。
