Despite his showboating, his family doesn't recognize him until he's scrubbed clean. In this reissued edition, Graham has added splashes of color to some of her original pictures.

古人云，“书犹药也，善读之可以医愚。不吃饭则饥，不读书则愚”。读书能增长知识，开阔眼界；能明白事理，增强能力。我原来只是把“加强学习”当作一句口号来喊，随着看书多一些后，才真正发现读书的意义。明白了我们常说的“提高分析问题解决问题的能力”不是一句空话。同样一件事情，不同的人会有不同的看法，不同的看法就会产生不同的处理方式。同样的工作，有的人能思路清晰、有条不紊处理得很好，有的人就不得要领，乱干一气，结果忙了半天没有实效。我以为，这也是不学习、思想肤浅、理解能力低的表现。只有多读书，通古今，晓四方，提高理解能力，才能正确分析问题，才能用科学的理论和方法来解决问题。
