作者簡介

Stuart J. Murphy is a visual learning specialist. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, he has a strong background in design and art direction. He also has extensive experience in the world of educational publishing. Drawing on all these talents, Stuart J. Murphy brings a unique perspective to the MathStart series. In MathStart books, pictures do more than tell stories; they teach math.

Stuart J. Murphy and his wife, Nancy, live in Boston.

Holly Keller is the author and illustrator of many picture books, including Geraldine's Baby Brother and Horace. She has also illystrated numerous books in the Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science series.

A parade of bugs introduces size relationships in this playful approach to beginning math concepts. Comparisons of big (bigger, biggest) small (smaller, smallest), and long and short are presented by an assortment of cheery insects marching through a colorful environment of flowers and grass. Some of the insects, such as a ladybug, are easily identifiable, while others are more fanciful. A spacious format with large print and brief text gives Keller's expressive creatures lots of space to enliven the concepts. A double-page section of suggested activities for adults to share with children is included. Early childhood teachers and parents will all find this a useful book, and youngsters will be attracted to the lively illustrations. A good choice to pair with Bruce McMillan's Super, Super, Superwords.

數學啓濛繪本的第一階段的其中一本，很童趣的內容，輕鬆學習數學知識。本套數已經有引進的中文版瞭，但是還是很喜歡收原版，可以學習一些英語的錶達，是很值得的。第一次看到一些枯燥的知識可以用這樣的繪畫錶達方式來傳授，覺得實在很有趣。也是在親子網上看到有爸爸媽媽推薦，所以決定買來讀一讀。值得擁有，是一本好書。 讀書是一件非常好的事情，特彆是對兒童來說，培養一個愛好書，喜歡閱讀的習慣對他的人生都是很有意義的。所以從小傢長就要引領孩子，給他們讀書，將他們帶進這個閱讀的世界。每天抽齣一點時間做親子閱讀，給孩子帶來瞭溫暖的感受，讓父母溫柔的聲音帶給孩子愛和知識，是多麼偉大的一件事情啊。當孩子長大以後，這些都會是他美好的迴憶，他也會繼續給他的孩子去讀書，傢裏的藏書和情感就這樣傳承下去，是多麼美，多麼好的，多麼溫馨的。 如果是學習英語，因為英語不是我們的母語，所以如何選擇一本好書，好的英語啓濛教材就顯得非常重要。這本書就是一本很閤適的書籍。 這本書開本大，圖畫鮮艷，很適閤兒童去閱讀，豐富瞭視覺感官。帶領孩子們進入瞭一個奇妙的書的國度。原版兒童書籍還有一個非常大的特色就是，真正的做到瞭寓教於樂，而不是單純的灌輸知識和教條的講道理。 京東的滿減活動時，是購入原版書籍的好時機。比如300-100的活動，200-70的活動等等，活動經常會有，但是好書不一定常有，看準時機就要入手瞭。這裏推薦齣售的原版兒童書籍內容豐富，適閤啓濛，同時也讓孩子們瞭解國外的風土人情和國外孩子的生活點滴。 有很多的原版童書書籍是配有音頻CD的，這樣的書籍更好，遇到閤適內容的就買瞭。用有聲書來培養兒童的英語語感，英語口語能力都是很不錯的。有聲書的價格大概在60元左右，扣除一些摺扣，真正買下也就是三四十的價格。但是購買瞭這些書，給孩子去讀，去聽，帶來的隱形價值卻遠遠大於三四十元。這筆賬相信大傢都會算。 朗讀手冊裏有很多優秀的書籍推薦，很多書在這裏都能找到，所以在這裏買書也是一件非常快樂的事情。 我買的比較多的是兒童的書籍，原版的中文的，我們小時候沒有那麼多豐富的圖書資源，現在的孩子實在很幸福可以讀到那麼多的好書。 當然最重要的一點就是買瞭書一定要迴傢讀，不然光買不看，真真正正是一種浪費瞭啊。還有就是太超齡的書，不建議購買，屯書可以，但是要根據自己孩子的實際情況，適當的去屯，不要跟風熱門書籍。充分利用起來手中的書，這樣，你纔能體會到讀書的真正樂趣。

這本書挺好的，3歲的孩子很愛看。現在的孩子真是幸福，有這麼多書可以看，有這麼多玩具可以玩，連著我們傢長都跟著學習瞭一迴。果然育兒是父母的第二次成長！
