"These series entries have colorful illustrations and very simple, repetitive texts. In Tapping Tale, a child goes on her first sleepover and hears a noise in the night that turns out to be her friend's dog's tail. The illustrations are bright and appealing, but the story seems incomplete. The second title is more satisfying, although the theme is a bit tired. Framed cartoon illustrations leave clues that Gil, an ant, is mistaken in thinking that his friends have forgotten his birthday. His dejection is cleverly shown by his drooping antennae and his elation clearly depicted at the surprise party given in his honor. Additional at best."

在京東購買 green light readers的人不多，可能是因為它比起step into reading係列和i can read係列的初級都要簡單，比較低幼，所以大傢傾嚮購買故事性更強一些的，但我覺得它雖簡單，但有自己的獨特處，就是它封底附有有趣的activity，令孩子在欣賞故事的同時，也可以進行有趣的實踐活動，真正的寓教於樂。
