评分##实在算不上一部优秀的推理小说，太“贴”推理了，所以显得死板，无非是一曲老阿姨的赞歌。前半部分就是阿婆惯常的嫌疑人各述证词，非常沉闷无聊，熬到Luke要拉Bridget私奔，戏剧冲突终于出来了，总算看得下去了。推理的设计也不够精妙，开篇一直形容Bridget像witch，这个地方的地名还叫Wychwood，这些梗本来就可以很好地玩起来，但到结尾也没看到。比较新鲜的是侦探终于不是波洛或者福尔摩斯那样的聪明人了，居然是个蠢直且感性的Luke，这一点不落窠臼，蛮有意思。尤其喜欢O why do you walk through the fields in gloves?一章。
